Terms of Use
Peaks is a one-time purchase in the App Store. There is no subscription, no in-app purchase and no account.
Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") before using Peaks ("App"), provided by Hannes Jung ("Developer"). By using the App you agree to these Terms and to the End User License Agreement.
Using the App
- Peaks is a tool for your own notes, todos and projects. Don't use it for anything unlawful.
- You are responsible for the content you enter and for keeping copies of anything important. Exporting topics as Markdown is a simple way to keep a backup.
- Due dates and lists help you plan, but the App does not send reminders or guarantee that you see a due todo in time.
Price and purchase
- One-time purchase. Peaks is paid once through the App Store. The App Store shows the price for your country before you buy.
- No subscription, no in-app purchases. All features are included in the purchase. Nothing renews and nothing is charged later.
- All your devices. The purchase is a universal purchase: it covers Peaks on iPhone, iPad and Mac signed in with the same Apple Account, and can be shared with your family through Family Sharing.
- Updates. Updates published for the App are free for everyone who bought it. The Developer may add, change or remove features over time.
Payment is processed by Apple and charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The Developer does not process or store payment information. Refunds are handled by Apple under its terms; you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
iCloud sync
Syncing between devices uses your own iCloud account and needs you to be signed in to iCloud with enough storage available. Sync depends on Apple's services and network conditions, which the Developer does not control.
Availability
The Developer aims to keep the App working on current versions of macOS, iPadOS and iOS, but cannot guarantee that it will run on every future system version or remain available on the App Store indefinitely. Your notes remain in your iCloud and on your devices regardless.
App Store terms
The App is distributed through the Apple App Store, and your use of it is also subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
Changes
If these Terms change, the new version is published on this page with a new effective date.
